Roots to Bloom is a hands-on, farm-based program for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, including inclusive and special education programs. Students learn where food comes from, care for goats, chickens, and ducks, and build confidence, focus, and calm through time in nature.
We are creating a space where every child feels seen, valued, and capable.
How to book
- Request a date first. Call (860) 214-6913 or email kelitasfarmasea@gmail.com with your group size, grade levels, and preferred dates.
- Kelly will contact you within one business day to confirm your date and program.
- You will receive an invoice. A 50% deposit holds your date. We accept card, check, and school purchase orders.
- Complete the parent and guardian forms before your visit.
Please confirm your date with Kelly before paying online. Need a W-9 or a custom package for more than 40 students? Just ask.
Program options
Bring the Farm to Your School
We bring the farm to your campus: guided animal interaction, an agriculture and nutrition lesson, a hands-on activity, and a nature-based wellness experience. Up to 40 students. Your school provides a secure, fenced outdoor area.
$375 per visit, or $1,400 for a 4-visit partnership package
Farm Field Trips at Kelita’s Farm A Sea
A guided farm tour, animal encounters, gardening and planting, and a hands-on nutrition lesson at our farm in Palm City, Florida. 1.5 to 2 hours. Up to 40 students.
$350 per group, or $1,950 for a 6-visit partnership package
Homeschool & Enrichment Program
Farm-based learning for homeschool families and co-ops, with agriculture, STEM, journaling, and seasonal farm experiences. Up to 40 students.
$350 per group, or $1,950 for a 6-visit partnership package
Special Abilities Program (Inclusive Learning)
Sensory-friendly farm experiences that build life skills, confidence, and social connection through adaptive, hands-on learning. Up to 40 students.
$350 per group, or $1,950 for a 6-visit partnership package
Summer Roots to Bloom: A 6-Week Program (June to July)
A 6-week summer outdoor learning program at our farm, with one visit per week. Each week brings gardening, animal care, nutrition, and creative farm activities that help students unplug and reconnect with nature. 1.5 to 2 hours per visit. Up to 40 students. Perfect for summer camps, summer school, and enrichment programs.
$1,950 for the full 6-week program (one visit per week), or $350 for a single summer visit
Perfect for public, private, and charter schools; homeschool groups and co-ops; summer and extended learning programs; special abilities programs; and youth organizations.
Required waivers and participation forms will be provided to parents and guardians before attendance. The school and/or school district are neither endorsing nor sponsoring this program, and Kelita’s Farm A Sea LLC operates independently from the school and school district.
